What is health coaching?

A Health Coach supports you in your journey by exploring your health and wellbeing in all its facets.

A health coach will help you set goals, plans, and achieve them.

A coach

•Support a client in achieving goals.

•Don’t give solutions and tell what to do, but ask questions to create insights and reflections for the client to move forward and find his own unique solutions.

•Inspiration, sustainability, and accountability.

•The client is the expert of its own journey.

Health

•Knowledge based on the latest science around nutrition, physical activities, behaviour change and overall wellbeing.

•Belief: Lifestyle is medicine, prevention is cure.

•Knowledge about the health system, and medical conditions, with some specialties depending on the Health Coach.

A Health Coach is not:

•Counsellor, therapist, nutritionist, personal trainer…

•Does not diagnose, prescribe or cure.

•Does not replace medical advice.
